I gave you back your points. I know that lots of people fed garbage to pigs..however my dad would only feed pigs good quality grain because if fed garbage they have more fat. We had chickens also..and they got chicken feed only. Not sure what others fed their chickens to fatten them up...but I am sure their chickens were more fatty also if not good quality chicken feed.

Hormones. And they get given antibiotics so they don't get sick from being crammed next to 7 other pigs in a tiny pen that can really only hold 2 pigs, which is why you might get given antibiotics and they don't work because you are immune.
