Yes and it only caused me more upset than I had to begin with, so now I make sure I keep the promises that I make to myself.

Yes, back in June 2007 I put a orange tabby cat to sleep when he was very sick. A few days later I got a buff tabby cat because he was so cute but I said I didn't want to get another orange one because no one can take the place of my dead cat. We lost another cat in February. We got a black and white cat. This cat was awful and we had to return it to the shelter. We were offered an exchange of another cat. We wanted to leave with a young male cat and not have to come back and make trips to see newly arriving cats. The only cat available was an orange tabby cat with a few white markings. Like a sucker, we took him home. We have had him for 2 months and he is delight. I said "no more orange cats" and then caved.

Yes I promised I would never be selfish and put my own needs before those of a person I loved and I broke that promise on terrible night a little more than 3 years ago and it cost me the life of the only person I ever truly loved and who ever truly loved me. If I could go back in time to that night knowing how it would turn out I certainly would have done things alot differently.

Yup. I swore I would never date anyone who I could not see eye-to-eye on with our religious beliefs because I knew we would never be able to have a good life together. Then, I dated a Wiccan. Bad mistake, and I nearly lost all definition of who I am over it. Not a good thing.
