  • Bad question to ask me but the two that pop to mind immediately are: 1) Magnetic linear accelerator : Railguns are FAR easier than coilguns 2) Ionizer: I made a nice one that induced a static charge at 15 feet not unlike scuffing your feet on a carpet on a cold, dry day.
  • I suggested this a couple of weeks ago, too: Magnetic levitation. How about electro-plating? It's too bad science fairs don't allow high voltage or flammables any more--lots of cool stuff gets cut out. Audio transducers (microphones and speakers) are interesting, but not very dramatic. I seem to have an electromagnetism fixation with these answers!
  • Dropping apples versus white dandelion flowers from the same distance to prove that weight and spacial dispersion will play an adverse role upon the rate at which an object will fall to the ground and then you can make a time versus weight / spacial dispersion graph for the two objects as you drop them and make a fair conclusion upon this evidence and raise questions as to why this is so.
