  • Personally, I think those foods are actually healthy. Some other foods that are awesome are lasagna (meat or vegetable), spaghetti and meatballs with cheese, rice and sweet-n-sour meatballs, almost any kind of salad, Alfredo, beef stroganoff, any kind of Teriaki, subs, sandwiches, fajitas, buritos, tacos, egg rolls, etc.
  • Well, if you don't cook these items with a lot of extra fat, I suspect it would be healthier for you. Some takeout places don't always cook in unhealthy ways, too. I often try to use only a bit of lowfat margarine on the outside of my grilled cheese. Chicken without the skin isn't too bad for you, especially if it's not deep-fried. Mac and cheese can be easily healthy if you use fat-free milk and lowfat margarine in it, also. I hope this works a bit for you.
  • The only real problem with those foods is high fat content and low fiber. Try cutting down on the cheese on the pizza, and getting pizza with onion, green pepper, olives and other non meat ingredients. Mix chopped up green veggies in the mac and cheese. Makes it more nutritious and prettier too. Stir fry your chicken with broccoli and some teryaki and cashews. Like I said, the only problem right now is high fat and low fiber and for some folks that can create a problem.
