Not the whole world, no ... there are those who are either clinging blindly to the views taught to them, without daring to compare, as if their traditional way is the absolute and only way ... or they are becoming fanatical and extreme and similarly reject all other options. But, YES, for the most part, as the world is opening itself up to our new information age, with the development of the internet, many who were uncertain, agnostic, or just rebellious youths, have looked into such things as Esoteric Yoga meditations from the Hindu and Taoist, as well as the many variations of Buddhism ... many are studying the ancient philosophy of Lao Tzu and Confucious, and traditional temples, mosques, and churches of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faiths, have noticed and reported a huge decrease in their numbers of faithfull followers, while Buddhism has reported a huge increase globally.
