I turned 23 just one second after I turned 21 and then I realized this has to slow down. So I stopped all birthdays after 29. ;)

18. I was a mother myself and noticed that it all goes by too quickly, especially when you watch your own children growing up.Now I've got a few children and my baby will be a year tomorrow and I just wish I could stop time! Where does it all go....

22, It is funny you want to be 13 because then you are a teen, then 16 to drive, then 18 because then you don't have to listen to your parents *what a laugh* then 19 to buy cigs *only if you smoke* (I don't but went and bought some for a friend because i could) 21 to drink. Then what do you have to look forward to? 25 lower car insurance, WOOHOO!!! lol That is when i noticed time flies tooooooooo fast.

13 years at technical school.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was 18 and it was the day I graduated from high school. I had to start making some tough decisions, and realized that time really does fly.
-
Not really. People thought I was 18 from the time I was 13 until I was about 25, and after that it didn't really matter. I married a man 8 years younger than I am, and our sons grew up over time, and presented us with grandsons. I have adult grandsons now, plus a brand new baby grandson and someday expect to be a great-grandmother. Time seems to just do what it's supposed to do.

When I turned 25 and my car insurance went up I knew it was time to regress in order to progress
-
I was happy as soon as I got my drivers licence. So that would have been....17.
-
Lucky me; I made it to eleven before hitting that wall.

great question.. yes, about 1 year ago i remember having a shave and staring ar my face and it dawned on me i had wrinkles, a couple of grey hairs and it was quite upsetting! I'm getting old...
-
Senior year...the year im going through now..ive never reminisced so much in my life, about the "good old days" (1-2 years ago) when nobody had a job or a car or a life, and we had halo parties everyweekend and stayed up late playing world of warcraft together..lol.Times change...got to grow up..fast.

when I was about 36 I realized that I was 2 times 18, but it was as if it had been only 4 or 5 years. So I stopped having so much fun and now time drags

I realized on my thirteenth birthday that I'd been yearning to be a teenager. And before that, I'd wanted to be double digits. Before that, 8 seemed "big". And before that, it just keeps going. After thirteen, the next "step" seemed to be 16. Then 18. Then 21. But at some point, you realize you've missed enjoying the time you have at each one because you were too busy wanting to be some other time/place. So I decided to just stop and enjoy whatever age I was at the time. And be glad that each age takes a whole year to get through, and only ONE year to get through. The other day, I commented off hand to someone I'd done something for twenty years, and he responded with something along the lines of how I must now be 21. Heh, not quite - but I kind of stopped counting along the way. Saying "I did that twenty years" makes me feel old, but you know, it's good we get old too. Wouldn't it be dreadful never to get anywhere?

I was 10 when I realized grown-ups didn't like toys or treehouses and never really wanted to play chase or hide and seek. I decided if I had to grow up I was going to do my best to keep on loving those things. I guess I've partially succeeded.

At age 22, after finishing college, time started to past quickly as soon as I became meaningfully employed.
-
I think once I turned 25 I wanted to stop counting birthdays.
