Yes, sometimes if I hear the same tired jokes too much, I stop the person telling the joke.

Oh yeah. Usually by not understanding the punch line and failing to laugh.....I just don't get jokes :)

If I didn't get their joke (which sometimes happens) but then again, it could have been a lousy joke.

Yes, I usually ruin my own by laughing so much that the other person can't understand what I'm saying, making it even more hilarious to me. Most times ends it no one hearing the joke, and me laughing like crazy.
