If you don't find any answer here, I suggest that you ask on a more specific forum such as this one: http://ogaugerr.infopop.cc/eve/forums 3) Here some further information about O gauge: http://www.rrtrack.com/html/o-gauge_analysis.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_scale http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_transport_modelling_scales
  • Not enough space there. Plus U need to factor in what size cars U will be using (no monster 'Observation' cars) & is it American Flyer (2 rails)or Lionel(3 rails)??? Most don't realize it but 1/2 "O" gauge (HO) (small trains) require the same space as "O" gauge. However, in HO, they make a "Flex Track" that can go as small as 30" with small cars. For Ur space U would have to go to "N" gauge I'm thinking. John
  • Atlas O has a track with a 27" diameter curve that should fit in your 30" space. Some locomotives won't run on such a tight curve so check it out before buying anything. MTH brand has a track with 31" outside diameter curve that most "O" scale engines can run on.
