I once buried the speedometer at 120mph; I was younger and had a Firebird, I get nervous above 65mph now. (I still miss my Firebird though)

110 mph with a 1959 Ford Galaxy 500 XL. I used to drag race guys when I was a commuter college student back in the late 60s. The 59 Galaxy was like an ark and maintained the road and all the curves very well at high speeds.

A GMC SUV overtook me at a high speed with big sound but i drove at 130 kph.maybe he drove at 200 kph.Crazy!

I remember one night after I left Wal*mart at about 11:00PM on a Sunday night that I took my 6 cylinder Dodge spirit north on the US19 where you leave Pinellas Park and it is nothing but straight away and I got my car to go to the speed of 120. I thought I was going to burn my engine out. BTW, 'you droved at?'

In the mid-'80s I had a car with a digital dashboard. I took her up to 102 mph just to see if the dash would display 3 digits. (It did!)
