You can take it down and bring it outside and shake the bad dreams out of it so that it won't get clogged up. :-)

Yeah, and you can usually tell if it's full by whether or not you life is a nightmare!

It never becomes full. The bad dreams burn off in the sunlight because they are trapped in the sinews of the webbing and therefore exposed to the sun's intense heat, unlike the good dreams which are filtered down into the feathers and can be dreamed again.

Dreamcatchers are more of a filter than a catcher. It never gets too full.
