  • I try to stay awake and be polite to them for giving me the food and the gifts but usually the boredom overwhelms me and I fall asleep in a chair.
  • We live about halfway across the country from our families. My In-Laws are Jewish, my Mom is Catholic. My wife and I think of Christmas as more of a day off than a holiday. So we do the ritual phone calls and that is about it. We all get along well in general, so the "holiday season" is really no different than any other day for us.
