  • As far as I know, yes that is true. Also they believe that God was once a man and with good works he became a God. Mormons believe if they follow the commandments, in the bible and the BoM that they too can become God's. And they also concider themselves Christians.
  • As you might guess from his nickname, "Latter Day Satans" is not the best source for information about the Mormon Church. Regarding your question, Mormons tend to read the Bible more literally than other Christians on this point. When Christ says that He is the Son of God, we believe Him. We believe that God is His Father, His creator. Mormons are Christians because we also believe that Christ is divine, and that He is one in purpose with the Father. God the Father and God the Son work in perfect unity as one single "monotheistic unit," the "Godhead," or Mormon version of the "Trinity." Thus, we worship Jesus Christ as God. • Mormons believe that "intelligences" are not created or made, but have always existed--this includes God and Jesus as well as you and me. However, God the Father created the spirit body of Jesus Christ, and also created the mortal body of Jesus Christ. Mainstream Christians, if I am not mistaken, believe that God the Father created the mortal body of Jesus Christ, but do not believe that there was any Jesus Christ that existed before such a time that God the Father created the mortal body of Jesus Christ (except for God the Father himself, who is one with Christ in a much more literal sense than most Mormons believe).
