I'd say the most bizarre holiday experience I've had so far was jumping off the roof of a shed into a pile of silly string. Probably the most bizarre gift i've had was a Richard Simmons DVD.

I just deleted it all because I suddenly realised that you probably meant holiday in the American way, rather than British. As I had the window open I thought I might as well post something, even though it doesn't make a lot of sense. Merry Christmas! (we don't say Happy Holidays because they normally happen in the summer).
