i always thought it was the running water, not just the 'brushing teeth' part! :)

I think it is the production of saliva(>sp)- that makes my mouth water and my digestive system move--hence bowel functions...

This may not be as crazy as you think. Cos before I brush my teeth I take a leak. After brushing me teeth I need to take a leak again!!

Seriously, I never heard of this before so I'm going to go out on a limb and say no. I always brush my teeth after I take care of my bowel needs anyway.
