Yes. It might make you feel better, but hitting someone is unacceptable. The best way to deal with a rumor is to ignore it and keep your head held high. Be the bigger person and handle this with grace.

Is that really a reason to hit someone? I'm assuming since this is in kids, it is probably some sort of high school drama. Realize in the real world that this can get you in legal trouble.
