This has happened to me several times in my life. In every case I can think of, the person just eventually grew on me.

Yes i hated this girl in my culinary class in high school. I told her i hated her once. When we went away to college we ended up deciding to room together because we were the only ppl we knew (even though i hated her, i knew her and trusted she wouldn't steal from me) Once we became roommates we were BEST FRIENDS but after i decided culinary wasn't for me and i moved back home (4hrs away) she began to fee like i abandoned her and we no longer speak

Yea...I met this guy friend at school and he was a total jerk. Like i really thought he had issues but after a year of knowing each other i actually started to like him and we have been best friends for 6 years now.

It often happens with people I think, in most cases if you don't like them, then you avoid them as much as you can. This isn't possible in some cases, and the silly little things that really annoyed you, start to become funny, or silly in a non-annoying way, and you eventually become to like this person. Obviously there are people who are just annoying full stop, there is no hope there :p

Hate is a strong word. Let's just say I had a dislike for this guy..young guy. We talked one day..really talked, about nothing in particular and I realized that he wasn't so bad after all. He was in the Air Force and was soon deployed overseas. He called me at least once a week and still does now that he is back. He has even started calling me mom, though he has one. I think the world of him now...he is a very sweet kid.

Yes. My first husband, but then in time I hated him again. Trust your first impression.

There have been people that I have strongly disliked that I ended up liking later on. Eventually, though, those traits show up again that I didn't like and it makes me dislike small things about their personality, although I might not just let on because we agreed to be friends and give each other a chance. They better not make me angry, though, otherwise all of those feelings will come out when I least expect it and that's never good. I seriously do try to like everyone, though. I don't like not liking people. It's not fun and steals my emotions that could be used for much more valuable things. :)
