Question

The window switches for my Ford Explorer work intermittently. Sometimes they work, most times they don't. None of the switches work for any windows. I also just noticed that my main cigarette lighter has a flickering power supply to my cell charger.

It sounds like your Explorer's electrical system may have been short-circuited, either by water damage or insects.

You need to take it to a Ford® dealer (or any competent mechanic) to have the electrical system thoroughly checked, because this problem won't "correct itself."
