I love the Sims and now the Sims 2!! I love building homes, trying to replicate plans I have in my head or that I've seen. I love to design clothes and decorate and make them up into families and let them grow up, go to school, get a business going, lol!!! Yes, I'm a Simmer from way back:-)

My girlfriend and I are both addicted. I could never get into the first one, but once I played the second, I was hooked. We've got most of the expansions now.
Best games I've ever played in terms of replayability and longevity. Also, best company in the world when it comes to releasing games with no bugs to be found.

I love it. I just kept getting the feeling that I was spending too much of my life playing as a cartoon person and stopped. It is a great game, though! Whenever my husband makes a tasty meal, I say "Dis Grau Ist Freteshay!"

The Sims has evolved over the years and becomes even more life-like every few months when a new expansion pack/stuff pack is released. Better yet, you can create your own clothing, items and more to add to the game, and there are many sites with brilliant creators who make custom game modifications which add an entire unexpected level of realism and control to the game. Perhaps the only downside to the game is that it is so complex and there is so much to do, it takes forever to get anywhere, and it takes up a good portion of hard disk space. The Sims 2 is a great game for anyone who has ever wanted to play god, and who hasn't ever wanted to do that?!

The sims and the Sims 2 is a great game...i still play it and its just really fun....also it kinda teaches you how to save money and not spending it all at once...well at least for me it did...

Ooh, I love the Sims! My husband bought it for me one day and I just got so hooked. I ended up buying Sims 2 and I have all the expansions and tons of custom content.
I think what I enjoy about it is feeling like I have some control over the lives of others, because my own personal life often feels out of control and unmanageable for me. :( Also, I love decorating houses and downloading new fashions for my Sims.
It's one of those games that just never fails to cheer me up. :)

I like the co-op mode in the second one, recently I got married on it, got a kid, reared him, trapped him in a square fence until all is modifiers were zero then put him in a little shack surrounded by boxes.
We then made explosive nomes and set them of in the shack, the whole place went up in flames and the kid burnt to death, me and my mate never laughed so hard in all our lives, it was hilarious.

I think it's a great game.. I was hooked on the original sims and when Sims2 came out it was even better. Its a great game where you can be creative and not have to worry about starting a level over or getting killed by enemy players lol... not that that's not fun, but its nice to have "other" challenges.

I played the sims for years. Loved that game, had all the expansions, and used to make my own skins and objects. I cannot get it to load on the new computer, I have not played since we got it.

I played Sims and Sims 2. I loved Sims 2, and got pretty addicted to downloading custom content for it. Then one day a realised that I was living a normal life, vitually, showering, eating, sleeping etc and while doing this I was infact doing nothing interesting or constructive, so I stopped playing. I hardly ever play games anymore as I've decided real life is pretty much better. Not all the time ofcourse ;)

ive played it, its ok, i think it was a warmup for the creator because now he is a making an awesome game called spore, it's coming out in september i believe and you start as a spore and work your way up to being a civilization in space, kind of cool

i first played a sim game when simcity 3000 (or "SC3K" for dorks like me) and loved it, played most any Sim game out since then (from Maxis, that is). I love sims 2 and can't wait for sims 3 even tho i know i cannot run it until i buy a new computer :(

Sims3, I type in a cheat (help) with all cheats, I typed in "llamaplease" (or whatever), and there was no llamas, are those cheats fake?
