  • The first thing that we do at weight watchers meetings is greet each other and if there any printed handouts, we pick them up. We then take our seats. The moderator leads us in a discussion of our achievements and challenges of the past week. We then have our 'health assessment', which some people call the weigh in. If anyone has any special tips on how they met their goals for the week, they share with us. We receive the menu plan for the following week, and discuss how we are going to use it. If there are any questions, or suggestions, we talk about that.
  • everyone weighs in, and new members get printed material the 1st dozen weeks. Every week, there are discussions about various challenges we face in trying to lose weight, and a lot of motivating stories. everyone is very supportive and friendly, and very encouraging. I have gotten to goal, and been Lifetime since February. But, being the food addict that I am, I still go every week...like a recovering alcoholic still goes to AA. The support and motivation is what I needed to lose, and what I still need to maintain my weight loss. and also, we will get recipes to try as well.
