yes he would because the Sat Nav would not be able to keep track of all the roadworks that continually pop up (and we have a lot of roadworks in the UK because we do not manage them properly, or at all).

Yes, because he wouldn't lose signal between tall buildings, he would would know all the latest changes and roadworks, and he would know how traffic flows change with time of day.

Yes. Have you used a SatNav? They're good, they work, but I can't always recommend the same route they recommend. (Then again, maybe the one I saw wasn't top of the range.)

Absolutely - sat navs don't take traffic or roadworks into account (that I know of...), and usually tend to just give you the most direct or efficient route if you assume that there'll be no traffic or roadworks (which, unfortunately, there always will be : P ).
