I have no problem with being a co-conspirator. If you can get away with it, do it. And if it's legal where you live, then more power to you. The very best thing you can do is get an air ionizer. Will need one if you have multiple plants and maybe two if you have a bunch. A good ionizer will cost about $150-$200 and would say this isn't the thing to skimp on in price. Ionizers can be purchased at any local grow store. The other thing you can do, if you have a house and not an apartment, is put just regular good 'ol metal piping up through your walls from the place where your pot is up through the top of the roof. Sure, it may seem like, "hey, wouldn't just letting the smell of pot go through the top of my house attract attention," the answer is no. It diffuses it. But, you really only need to do this if you have a bunch of plants growing. I do have to say though, just for some good to know information, and you do live in a place where it's illegal, if someone grows just even one plant in their house, and they are within 1000 yards of a school, this triples your fines and jail time if you do get caught. Just FYI. Good luck.

If anyone is reading this, I have a follow-up question: People (who I'd prefer didn't know about it) are going to be entering and leaving the room where the plant is located. Is it possible to keep the smell confined to an enclosed area (ie. a closet) or will it "leak" out into the room? It will be just a single plant. Also, if anyone has any other (cheaper) suggestions to keep the smell down, it would be appreciated.

An air freshener helps some put a glade in the room, it will prob. only really smell during flowering unless you have some crazy clone or seeds from skunk or other smell producers. You can build a cheap carbon scrubber here are some plans: http://www.hg420.com/showthread.php?t=14584&highlight=carbon+filter Great idea on that thread ^^^^
