What do you do to the name of a book when your writing a paper. Underline? italisize? MLA format

I hate to give unclear answers. It depends on the type of paper you are writing...My suggestion is to look up style guides or get a manual from your local library.

Names of books in MLA are always underlined ( I double checked the reference guide before I answered just to make sure)

It used to be underlined, but the last MLA Manuel I have is about 5 years old and they like to change things randomly every couple years.
