In theory I would like to think that I would be very happy for them and consider myself some sort of great philanthropist; a selfless benefactor! I would be content and filled with joy that my action brought about so much help and security. In reality I would probably be excited for them, but kicking myself in the butt and thinking, "That could have been MINE!" ;-)

Being just a mere human I would wish it was me and a second later I would be happy for them because if I were to give someone a ticket it wouldn't be because they were rich and needed the money.

That's an interesting question T. I've actually asked myself this question because I have often given lottery ticktes as presents. And the answer is: "I don't think I want to know". lol

Honestly happy for them. I would hope I gave the ticket to someone who needs the money.

I'd be kicking myself!! That's why I NEVER give lottery tickets as gifts!!! Once my mum had me pick a ticket for her and she said if she won anything she would split it with me!! it was New Years Eve 5 years ago or so and she won $20,000. Funny how she forgot all about sharing it!!! she did spend some of it on me BUT never split it that's for sure... We all say if we win we will share etc... UNTIL WE ACTUALLY DO WIN!!!

I would be happy for them, but secretly hoping they remember who gave them the lottery ticket, lol.
