If you witnessed a riot taking place and you saw an opportunity to discreetly acquire valuables in the confusion, would you?
(Basically, would you steal if you knew you wouldn't get caught while a bunch of other people were doing the exact same thing?)

I am no saint, but for a long time I have followed the principle..If I can't pay for it I don't need it. maybe the only person to know would be me, but I have to live with myself and if I can't follow my own principles it would say a lot about my character.

"discreetly acquire valuables" are you a lawyer? you make stealing sound so good. no, i wouldn't. aside from a few traffic violations, i consider myself to be a law-abiding citizen.
