yes my best friend's ex is going out wit a freshman and he's a senior its not right at all it make you look like a petifile. (hope i spelled that right)

I dated a Senior when I was a freshman, he was only a little over 2 and a half years older then me. I dont perticularly think its a bad idea, we were together for 3 and a half years just broke up recently :(. So id say it depends on how mature the 2 people are.

Well........ as a mom and someone who's been there, I'd say it's a real bad idea. Senior year is a big year. Lots of parties, drinking, other stuff, and they are headed for college, you'll get left behind and get a Dear Jane in the mail. Sorry, but I just told you as how I see it! :)

JennaRae - I would say dating is OK, but do not expect it to lead to anything long-term. The problem will be in a year or so when you're still in High School and the graduated boy is moving on in life. That high school graduation is a HUGE transition. Many (most?) friendships and relationships don't survive having to bridge that gap. Good luck.

I agree with most of the people who commented. I think it's a really bad idea because the senior is A) more experienced and will probably try to get you to do things you don't feel comfortable with and B) they're moving on with their life and will most likely leave you behind. I would say that it's better to date someone your own age.

the reason i ask if if the senior is a guy hes too old for you , not cuz ur immature but because hes going to want to do things [im not just talking abut sex] that you are too young for or not interested in. if you are a girl and a senior the same things are true but ithink ur main thing it consider that it is illegal to have sex with a minor if u are over 18[sry im canadian u guys have dift laws than us but i know that one is true]
