Probably not. It may actually be a reference to the film "Mano: The Hands Of Fate", a B-rate sci-fi film long considered the worst ever made. The only film to really compete for the title of worst movie ever (according to a wikipedia entry on the film) is Plan 9 From Outer Space, which is actually referenced as well in the game Destroy All Humans.

The film itself (Mano) is about a vacationing family that is kidnapped by a polygamist cult. What this could do with divining cards is beyond me. My best guess is that it was simply a chosen name for the sake of created mysticism. There is actually an online word generator that gives false Tarot card names, as well.
