  • No.When one dies their soul goes to paradise and their spirit to God and the body to this earth. And there is no way that their spirit returns back to the body that he/she may come alive or the soul.Their souls just stay in paradise until determined to go to heaven or hell on judgement day.
  • As a born Hindu, this is one of the strong beliefs among us as per the scriptures. But I have no opinion of mine to offer.
  • yes. my grandmother sometimes can smell my grandfather (sounds gross, but i don't mean it that way). i sometimes get the feeling he is right next to me.
  • Yes I do. Sometimes people die without saying goodbye. Or there may be something left undone or they just may need to tell a person something or let them know they are o.k.
  • YES - I strongly believe this.. I often have dreams with people who have died in them with messages that prove true. I think there are messages even if you dont see them and realise they are there
  • here in Virginia just south of Richmond they built an expressway called Pocohantis Parkway. I think there are stories saying it was built over burial grounds. There were reports of ghost sightings on this bridge right over I95. Funny how these stories came out (newspapers)right before they opened it to the public. (Tolls)
  • Not particularly. I think if I were dead I'd be about as interested in my descendents 500 years later, when I'd be only one of about 2 to the 20th power (or over 1 million) ancestors, as I am now about my ancestors from the year 1508.
  • If you asked this question to my Border Collie, Mikey, he will give you a direct "woof". My wife believes our property use to be a dairy farm, operated by slaves. Mikey does spook easily and spirits of long ago, may be the reason. My wife is convinced Mikey sees ghosts. he will stop in his tracks and head for his dog house. this occurs daytime and nightime. Whatever it is, is friendly. no problems, except a few items being knocked over.
  • Spirits are energy and energy dissipates over time; so, my answer is yes! but the spirits that visit are those of people who died no more than say 20 to a maximum of 30 years ago.
  • No, I believe the dead are just that, dead. In the Bible it says that the dead know nothing, that they do no work or planning or activity, that it is just like sleeping.
  • All the time - I don't know who the are because I haven't asked yet, but I believe they're here, guiding me, looking over me. I know my mother's here, and my father's behind her but not saying much (he never did, bless him!). And I have a young girl holding my hand; I think I know who she is. I've been told I have an American Indian guide (but seriously, who hasn't). Also the ancients from hundreds of years ago - but they're muddled, and I can't see them clearly. I have a friend who's clairvoyant and she's going to take me back - when I'm ready. I need 'cleansing' first - so another friend is doing that. I'm very excited about it :)
  • Spiritualism and science are always at odds but if people really believe in spirits, it seems to work for them because things that we believe in take on a reality of their own.
  • Yes. In our religion we believe that on the last 10 days of the year the spirits of our dear departed come back to spend time with us and we have special prayers every day for them and even cook special food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) on each of the 10 days and keep it near their respective flower vases as an offering to them.
  • No - they are too busy with their lives to gt involved with our trivialities.
  • Yes I do. Part of the dissolution of our culture has been our lack of reverence for those who have gone before us.
  • No but I think memories of them do.
