  • If your record was expunged, then that means that the charges were removed from your record. This does not mean that there is something statement saying that you were acquitted of the charges. It means that the fact that charges were leveled at you in the first place has been removed from your record. So, legally it is as if the charges were never filed. So, this should not prevent you from owning a gun or joining the police force.
  • If you had deferred adjudication, you should have no criminal record.
