  • Isn't the main problem the overloaded housing market in the US causing a financial slump everywhere else in the world, causing everyone else to tighten their purse-strings and look for savings?
  • It happens here too. (State of Michigan, USA.) Everyone complains about taxes and won't vote to support any increase in school tax, park preservation, police support, Fire services, family services ect. Then everyone goes nuts when they have take their kids to school because there are no school busses, The schools are overcrowded, crime is up because of a lack of patrol officers, it take 20 minutes for a fire truck to get to your house and the homeless have no place to go but on the street.
