  • Not a very original answer I suppose, but I loved "The Razor's Edge" because of the dichotemy between the transformations the characters undergo. The marked difference between the lives of the materialistic and the main character are just so striking and absorbing. I doubt a movie will ever be able to translate it sufficiently (at least in my eyes).
  • I had to read "Of Human Bondage" in High School. and it made me want to watch the movie version of the story starring Laurence Harvey and Kim Novak.
