  • According to http://www.usaweekend.com/01_issues/010826/010826schools.html "The average American high schooler spends five hours on homework per week ..." That means that, if spread over 5 days, its about an hour a day. If spread over all 7 days of the week, its less than that.(about 40-45 minutes) They go on to say that a good rule of thumb for how long the average student should be doing homework each day is 10 minutes per grade. That means a 3rd grader has 30 minutes, while a tenth grader has 100 minutes.
  • 0 hours a day. This is normal.
  • Honestly.. I'm in the 10th grade, I'm 16 years old. I do get homework. I dont really do any of it. I just dont have time in my day. If i know i need to i will do the big stuff only. On an averge week i do about an hour's worth of homework for the whole week. Even if i know i have homework , i still dont do it.
  • Depends on the day, I usually spend no more then half an hour.
  • Alright. It usually depends on a person. Girls, since they are more into education, they are likely to spend over an hour for homework. Guys, since they don't care about education as much, they are likely to spend half an hour and up to hour.
  • i used to spend about 1.5 hours on it when i was a senior in hs. i also worked a lot....and they said we were lazy.
