Some women can't do a job just as good as a man. Some women can do the same job even better than a man. Some men can't do a job just as good as a woman. Some men can do the same job even better than a woman. It's about skills, not gender. Sorry, I guess that I didn't answer your question. My answer is "sexism".

Sexism?

I try to think that anytime anyone has something negative, or judgemental to say about anything, that it comes from a place of fear or insecurity. It really is none of my business if someone thinks I can or cannot do something - a job or an art, or anything else, for that matter. All that matters is what I think about what kind of job I'm doing. If I meet my own standards, the rest falls into place.

Well, if Most men and Most women are different in any way, then Logic Dictates that this difference will mean that in some jobs, one sex will be better than others, do you agree? However, There is no absolute Black and white "Male" and "female" category of person. Some men show more female characteristics than many females do, and vice versa. For example, a construction labourer. Males have a post-pubescent predisposition to gain muscle mass, while females do not. Combined with the construction culture of strength, stamina, and "hardness" being the most desirable characteristics, then Men (generally, NOT absolutely) are better suited to this job than women. I am not suggesting that when a Hirer is looking at female applicants for a construction job he should dismiss them in line with the aforementioned general patterns, but he should look at each case individually, and irrespective of sex. When all is said and done though, chances are there are more men in the worksite than women, as there are more men suitable for the position in the world, than there are women who are suitable.

well they might be sexist, maybe.

It depends on what job is, and also depends on person. But usually men are better at hard physical jobs, and woman are usually better at cooking. But, not always.
