Oh yes........my mom adored my brothers...
-
there is 5 of us and although I am "the baby" I was never treated that way...my sister that is before me has always been very spoiled and got everything...even the house when mom passed and she already had one.
-
We are treated equally. But I think my sister thinks that I'm mom's favorite. That's so untrue.

Out of 6 kids, I would say that my better looking sister was the pet. The rest of us are invisible!
-
i like to think that i was the favorite...i was the baby...

I don't think they treat any one of us better than the others. They do treat us all differently though, and I would much rather be treated in the same way that my brother is.

I think gender plays a major role regarding how parents raise siblings. Girls are usually more sheltered from reality in ways and "protected" from many elements of life that parents tend to fear. Boys on the other hand are more than likely to be raised with much more leniency with the idea that boys are far more capable of protecting themselves and less likely to be taken advantage of. I have 1 sibling (a brother) who is younger than me by about 2 1/2 years. I noticed while growing up that many more restrictions applied to me and not my brother. For example, my curfew when I was 10 was when the streetlights came on, otherwise I would be grounded for 3 days. my brother on the other hand had a curfew of 10pm when he turned 10, otherwise he would have his playstation taken away. This is just one of many differences i saw while growing up. I think that age mostly plays a part when the age difference is substantial. Or parents can feel as if they made some mistakes with each child and each time they try something different to alter that. I assure you if the first born child (boy or girl) won the nobel prize by the age of 7, the parents would not change a thing the next time around.

well me being the second oldest i was treated the worst. my mother liked girls better and my little brother acts like a girl, and whats funny i turned out the best. oldest sister is a crackhead, second sister is a wana be gangbanger, brother is spoiled by rich daddy, third sister was takin by social services(havn't seen her in 5 years), and last sister is 6 and aint even in school due to my mothers stupidity.

Hello ANGEL! Well no matter what the parent says, i'm sure most will say i love them all. Each child probably will say they loved the other one. My oldest says we loved the middle one more, the middle one says we loved the other two more, my youngest isnt talking yet.

I have both brothers and sisters. My parents treat us all equally.
-
No, I'm glad that they treat us equally.
-
They didnt treat us any better than the others but we were all treated differently since we are all individuals with needs that vary.
-
My brother (one year older)was born disabled, so he took up more time and resources, and my sister (one year younger)was the baby (and prettiest), but I was the favorite.
