I don't really give a shit! :-) Well, I never thought about it. But I understand that in earlier times, they used pages from the Bible or old used books. I am sure they were hygienic. Especially in polite society.

Bidets are a much more hygienic alternative, so that's what I would use.

I remember when i was young we had very little money and it was my job to cut newspaper into squares pop a hole in the corner and put string threw it,i then would hang it on a nail next to the toilet in the outside loo, the only problem with that was your arse ended up black with the ink off the paper lol....those were the good old days and i would hate to go back to that i love my triple velvet too much.

Yes, Icould go without nasty old toilet paper. I use a toilet seat bidet it works great I am wash cloth clean with out taking a shower and using up 10 to 12 gallons of water and the amount of trees were burning up to make toilet paper, And all the water it takes to make T.P. There are alot of benefits to using a bidet don,t knock till you have tried one
