Has it ever snowed in Bangalore, India? If so, when was the last time?

I just went on a blog site between Indians and one of the comments was:

Well, it got all the way down to 68 F or so here when it rained yesterday...

That's still too warm for snow. Sydney gets down to zero in the winter, but we don't have snow due to our being too far north and too low.

Yeah, I think the same is true here. The elevation is somewhat high (for south India), so was wondering if there had ever been an abberation that resulted in snow.

that would be nice. by Christmas in Sydney it is usually 40 deg celsius (over the 100 in Fahrenheit)
