What do you think of the swastika symbol? Misunderstood, or evil? Or something else?

It is a sacred symbol of India,and stands on the point of one of the legs. In Germany the image was represented on the flat part of one leg,or laying on it's side.

As used by the Nazis, it was evil, as it led to the deaths of millions in a mistaken belief in a superior race. This was a misuse of Indian beliefs in varna.

It is a very important symbol for many reasons. However Hitler has cause many people to view it as evil.

Unfortunately, when I see it, I immediately think of Nazism and Hitler. However, I know its true origins and meanings.
