In The United States, why do we always go to the racial issue whenever we get into arguments with each other? Why do we have the tendency to find the racial angle in all our disputes?

it is a card that ethnic minorities play to their advantage and it often works. Do you blame them? Women play the gender card, gays play their card, even kids will play the sob sob card. Human instinct to use whatever works. If you are completely "normal" and a man, tough! you just have no cards...

People don't generally want to think that they (the individual) are the problem...They would rather find something else to blame it on. I'm not saying that race is never an issue, there are some people truly affected by it. I just think that many people who blame something on race are mistaken.
