Why do you think alot of people are taking a break from AB? I think it's because of some JERKS that are on here...what do you think?

Because some people are rude. ( dont get me wrong their is alot of nice people on here) but some people take it to far and not in a nice way

Be cause just like everyday life some people only want to stir things up. But there are still many more good people on then those that stir!!

Hey Sheepingly:) How are you doing? I'm not sure why a lot of people seem to be taking breaks right now. I think it could be because some of them are just getting annoyed at certain users and so they're just taking a break to let off some steam. Or they could just be needing a break from the computer in general. Not too sure though!

I've seen a bit of a pattern in it. A few of the same names keep popping up but of course I am a bit biased. Could be they are just all bored or busy I suppose. Stranger sh*t has happened. :)

I think that people just take breaks because you can really only do all this for so long. I know that I must take a day or two off every once in a while for that very reason. I actually enjoy the jerks, and I think most everyone else does too, whether they admit it or not.

I think that unless you hear the full story from the people themselves, it's easy and convenient to blame their absences on "some JERKS that are on here". People have their own reasons for leaving, like paying attention to events in the real world. Devoting attention to friends and family, or careers. Some people even leave AB quietly, without melodramatic, attention-grabbing farewell speeches, as hard as that is to believe.

I usually tell the Jerks where and how to stick it. I don't take no crap from anyone.

My view is that sometimes people need breaks from AB (or even from all technological devices,) and it doesn't necessarily have to be AB-related. This time of year can be especially busy. Many people have many more obligations/activities than usual, and less time for online stuff. Also, the holidays can be depressing for many people. It's easy to think that holiday time means fun, food, and festivities, but for some people, it can mean loneliness and/or sadness. People come and go from AB all the time. There are tons of good people here, and there are usually some jerks, sure. And, some people who are usually nice can have their moments of jerk-like behavior. Even people who are usually jerks occasionally have moments of witty/nice dialogue.
