  • Yes and it's great for your heart as a BIG added bonus. I've been taking it for years. Get the good kind with Omega 3,6 &9, preferably with Borage and Flax Seed oils in it as well.
  • Have you ever seen a scaly fish.. oh wrong question ;)
  • Fish oils are an important source of omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to reduce inflammation in your body, reduce triglyceride levels, and improve cardiovascular health. http://www.healthy-oil-planet.com/fish-oils.html Several studies on fish oils and skin health show the omega 3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation and scaly skin seen in psoriasis and eczema patients. http://www.healthy-oil-planet.com/skin-benefits-fish-oils.html Research still needs to confirm the appropriate dosage for maximal effects. Some studies had patients using 2 - 3 grams/day of fish oils with positive results. Other studies using lower amounts had negligible effects. You'll probably have to try different dosage amounts on a consistent basis before seeing any results. Try using the liquid fish oils as you get more omega 3 fatty acids per teaspoon. You would have to take many soft gel fish oils to equal the amount of omega 3 fatty acids you get in a single teaspoon of liquid fish oils. You can get liquid fish oils in lemon, orange and strawberry flavors.
