If Kurt Cobain hadn't died, what do you think would be different in the music scene today? Would Nirvana have made another album?

i dont think that they would have made another album because he killed him self because he didnt want all the publicity that came along with the ones he made. that is what i think. he couldnt deal with the pressure of being a star. he didnt think that his band would be that good

Kurt Cobain wouldn't have made another record because his "suicide note" was a letter he had written saying he was quitting the music business.

The music scene would be different. But, I doubt they would put out a new album because Kurt was tired of all the publicity and I don't blame him.

he would have taken himself out of the music scene, so i dont think they would have made another album... however without kurt's death to inspire him who knows if dave grohl would have gone on to do everything he has done with the foo fighters.

i believe that Nirvana would have made another album and unlike the other people here, i believe Courtney Love killed Kurt and left a fake suicide note to make it seem like he wanted to die... if you would have a song, such as You Know You're Right, unpublished onto a cd yet, you wouldnt want to let it go without any publication... he also had a new version (better) of (sorry i cant think of the title right now) that he didnt get to finish either. and let me tell you this, if you were to take 1 lethal dose of heroin, you wouldnt be able to get another, much less 2 more, into your system alone... so courtney had to have a part in all of it...

I was just discussing this with a friend on Sunday. We both felt that Nirvana would have broken up. Kurt wanted to record with other musicians, Michael Stipe was a rumored collaborator. And who knows what kind of influence Courtney might have had on Kurt. I think Dave Grohl also wanted to do his own music.

kc would not have been able to save the music industry from mp3 piracy & its stunning lack of creativity. if nirvana had continued to record they would have made some good music but would eventually have come commercially irrelevant. people don't want to be miserable all the time. i see a career trajectory similar to what pearl jam has experienced after the grunge thing wore off.

Cobain may of been able to make one more great album, but FooFighters wouldn't of had so much sucess and the world wouldn't know what a voice David Groel has.

I think they would have probably pulled one more off, because of financial need, but that would be about it. I think Kurt would have played with other artists, and Dave too. I'm not sure about Krist. He's kind of a hard one to figure. I think if Kurt hadnt died when he did, his only chance at actually living would have been to get away from Courtney and step back from music a bit.

Kurt would have recorded an album with Michael Stipe from R.E.M... Nirvana would have break up and Dave Grohl will still form Foo Fighters. Krist would still be doin' what he's doing now in Seattle. But Kurt would have divorced from Courtney, moved to England, record a couple of Solo albums, complete re-hab with the help of Michael Stipe, Dave, Krist and other friends, get healthier from his stomach pains, and start a new life, even changing his lifestyle becoming a painter, musician and political activist against the War in Irak. I see him been this generations version of a combination between John Lennon and Andy Warhol.... Oh what a trip I'm in! jajajaj

Who knows. Maybe they would have made another album. The stress from making it might have driven him to suicide. He was to fragile to survive.
