My sister say this about me. I always buy want I want, so when the holidays roll around, she has no clue on what to get for me. I tell her to take me and my daughter out for diner.

How about tickets to a sports event, museum, concert or play (depending on the person's preferences)?

Gift cards. Make something (like dinner).

I'm thinking of my answer a little differently, and applying it directly to my own life... I already think my boyfriend has everything in the world, but I would give him a reminder of just how firm a grip he has over my heart... He knows I've given him everything I possibly can, and in my heart, I know he feels that its enough.

Usually, if someone has "everything", I give them a gift card to a restaurant, because, while we don't all share the same opinions on everything, everyone has to eat -- it's something almost everyone can use.
