I am giving that life up and moving in with my son and his family do to health and other reasons. therefore I can say we all know everyones life will change. I am giving up having everything my way;like how the coffee is made,what foods are eaten,what is watched on TV,what time and how things are done. Yes we will all give, nothing will be just one persons way; however one persons way is what I've been use to for over 10yrs. So having things your way isa big advantage.

It works for me, it suits my personality and the lifestyle I prefer. I like my space, I like my freedom, a lot of the things I enjoy doing are solitary activities. I'm not a hermit - I do like dating, and I like spending time sometimes with friends and family, but after spending mor ethan a few days in constant company I start to crave peace and quiet. I like that I can do what I like, whenever I like. I like that I can stay out as late as I want without answering to anyone, or stay in bed all day. I like that my house is as tidy or as messy as I want it, and I like that I can decide to watch a movie at 2am without disturbing anyone. I like that I get to spend my money on me, rather than worrying about what someone else needs. This is all because of my personality though - it suits some of us to be solitary and independent, other people go crazy if they don't have people around them all the time. It just depends what kind of person you are.

Man is a Social being. We need company and warmth of others. Yes. There are some advantages of leading an independent life but not a solitary life.But, It is my view that no one in the world can be independent of others.
