  • You may not be able to without damaging the screen. You can't clean the display screen of your LCD monitor with glass cleaner. Screen covers on LCDs are made of plastic, which is degraded by glass cleaner. Instead, use a clean cloth barely dampened with a mixture of vinegar and water, or with a mixture of water and tiny amount of soap. ---SOURCE: http://www.staples.com/content/Article/I-N/LCDFAQs.asp Some sources say to use a dry-cleaning solvent to get crayon out of fabric. But I think that might be risky: it might harm the plastic. You might try contacting... Bird-X, Inc. 300 N. Elizabeth St. Chicago, IL 60607 USA (800) 662-5021 (312) 226-2473 http://schoolipm.ifas.ufl.edu/safety.html ..and asking them if their "B-X Safety Solvent" is safe for removing crayon from LCD monitors. Maybe they will actually try it for you! I definitely would NOT experiment on my own monitor. I'd keeping asking and researching until I got a believeable suggestion.
  • Apparently you don't have a 2 year old viper1991369! Anyway, since most folks who end up with crayon on their LCD monitor have this anyways, it works very well: Baby wipes. Gently rub the area, when it is cool, and it will hopefully come right off. Unless your tike has a strong arm and rubbed it in. Fortunately mine didn't.
  • Hello, I have a 2yr old daughter that colored on our LCD screen with crayon. (Got to love her!) I tried both the answers received here, but it only removed the surface crayon and still left the marks. I had resigned myself to surfing the web while "enjoying" her artistic side, but today while cleaning the kitchen she snuck into our room again and colored in fine point magic marker, ink pen and pencil! (Still love her!)Anyway I decided that I could at least remove the pencil off of the screen by erasing it and to my great delight I found that it also removed the crayon, magic marker and ink pen! I used a regular pink one at first at the end of the pencil, but switched to a soft white click eraser by pentel that worked even better! I am thrilled!!! I guess you could say that I am glad that she colored on it the second time or else I would never have thought to simply erase it off!
  • Water + Soap and some drops of alcohol (20 drops in a small glass)
  • I have the same problen my daughter just crayoned my lcd TV. Did you get the crayon of???
  • SALLY HANSEN FINGER NAIL POLISH REMOVER AND BABY WIPES. I PUT SOME REMOVER ON THE WIPE AND WITH SLIGHT PRESSURE IN SMALL AREAS AT A TIME I GOT ALL OF THE CRAYON/BLACK PERMANENT MARKER OFF OF OUR LCD SCREEN. I WOULD WIPE SMALL AREAS WITH A WIPE WITH THE REMOVER ON IT AND THEN WIPE THAT AREA AGAIN WITH A CLEAN WIPE AND ADD MORE REMOVER TO A NEW WIPE AND MOVE SLOWLY AROUND THE SCREEN WIPING OFF THE EXCESS RIGHT AWAY. I AM SURE THAT THE ACETONE IN THE REMOVER WOULD DO HARM TO THE LCD SCREEN IF LEFT ON TO LONG SO I MOVED QUICKLY AND WIPED THE REMOVER OFF AS SOON AS THE CRAYON MARKER CAME OFF. WE TOO HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD ARTIST IN THE HOME THAT THINKS THE COMPUTER SCREEN IS HIS CANVAS. THE BETTER SOLUTION FOR THE LONG HAUL IS FIGURING OUT A WAY TO KEEP HIM OFF OUR COMPUTER. HE WAKES UP AND IF WE ARE NOT UP BEFORE HIM HE IS ALWAYS INTO SOMETHING...USUALLY SOMETHING HE SHOULDNT BE INTO...THE COMPUTER IS HIS FAVORITE OR ANYTHING THAT MAKES SOUND, HAS BUTTONS OR BASICALLY IF IT IS BREAKABLE OR DANGEROUS. HE KNOWS NOT TO TOUCH OUR COMPUTER HE HAS HIS OWN PLAY COMPUTER. HOW DO WE STOP HIM FROM DOING STUFF LIKE THIS TO OUR THINGS? PREVENTION IN OUR CASE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BETTER OPTION. WE HAVE NOTICED IF THE COMPUTER SCREEN IS OFF WHEN WE GO TO BED WHEN HE GETS UP HE TENDS TO LEAVE IT ALONE FOR THE MOST PART. WHAT DO OTHERS DO TO KEEP THEIR LITTLE ONES OUT OF TROUBLE LIKE WE HAD TODAY. I MEAN HE NOT ONLY DREW ON THE SCREEN HE HAD ALL THE STUFF MESSED WITH ON THE DESK. THE MONITOR WAS BACKWARD ON THE DESK, HE GOT INTO PENS, SCISSORS, MESSED WITH THE WIRELESS ROUTER ANTENNA AND THE WEBCAM...AND HE WAS SO SNEAKY AND QUITE ABOUT IT TOO. WHAT TO DO?
