Wow. Boy, that sure makes me feel better. Same to you, T. You have made a huge positive difference in my life. I am so grateful to you for all the times you have been there for me. I'm the lucky one here. I love you. :)
by unknown on December 1st, 2007
Those things I said don't even touch on how I know you make a difference. Words either heal or harm...you heal. And even though there are soooo many you have healed with your words...even if it were only 1 person you touched....you made a difference. A good deed (kind words) is a reflection of a persons soul. You are beautiful. How did I get so lucky is the question! Thank YOU for what you did, what you said and who you are. There are all kinds of love and I love you ....you bring a smile to my face:)

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. OK, you're hired. :)

That will be $20.00..pay up sister!
by Babycakes on December 1st, 2007
<gives Babycakes $25> That's a little tip in there for you. :)
by unknown on December 1st, 2007
Now I can afford to buy us each a slice of pie! We will make a tea party out of this......I even know how to stick my pinky finger up and look dignified!
by Babycakes on December 1st, 2007
Well, that is tempting. I guess I can stop feeling sorry for myself long enough to have tea and pie with you. :)
by unknown on December 1st, 2007
You are NOT feeling sorry for yourself. You had a moment when you were feeling down. Anything happen to bring it on or are you just missing friends because of the holidays? It's hard having friends that live so far away.
by Babycakes on December 1st, 2007
Well it's both, really. Something did happen and I miss friends who live far away. It's pretty bad, actually. I've been crying and everything. I just felt like I was just existing, I guess. I don't know. A momentary lapse or something. Thank you so much for being my friend. I don't know what I would do without you.

Aw, thanks Nirtoduck. {hugs} I was really down when I asked this question. I'm down again today and your comment has lifted my spirits. You're awesome. You certainly make a difference to me. :)
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
Well thank you. You just demonstrated that you make a difference. Your comment made me sit up straight in my chair and smile.
by Nitroduck on January 16th, 2008
Aw, well good. Now I'm smiling for the first time this morning. :)
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
Smiles and many (((((hugs))))) to you both!!!
by Babycakes on January 16th, 2008
Same to you, sweetie. How are you?
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
I'm ok. What's happening in your neck of the woods? Are you ok? What can I do to make you smile today? I could take a pic of my big butt....wait...that will make you have the throw ups. Best I not do that:)
by Babycakes on January 16th, 2008
I'm fine. Just got me a case of the blues. I'll be ok in a few months. lol Your butt is just fine, btw.
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
A few months! We can't have you down for that long! We will just have to keep your mind busy so the time will fly by....now how can we do that? We could talk about Blake everyday...we could start with his birth...and work our way up to right now. You can tell me funny or loving stories and POOF the months have passed and you are back to feeling loved again:)
by Babycakes on January 16th, 2008
Then we should stay way from his birth. That was sheer agony. Let's talk about him afterwards. lol When he was home for good and not sick anymore. :)
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
Okay....we will start with his first birthday and his first Halloween costume:)
by Babycakes on January 16th, 2008
His first birthday was uneventful because it was just before Christmas so we didn't really do much. We celebrated at our family Christmas party. He loved the wrapping paper and boxes. He doesn't do Halloween but we go to our church and have a harvest party there. This past party he had his face painted to look like a tiger. It was cute. He had some teeth to make the image complete. I forgot my camera, though.
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
Kids love the darnest things. Give them a box with clothes pins and they couldn't be happier. What kid didn't love the wrapping paper!! A tiger! How brave of him to pick something so scary and with teeth!! I bet he had a ball roaring at everyone! Does he go around the house singing?
by Babycakes on January 16th, 2008
He's a jumper. He jumps on everything. We tell him he's going to break something he can't eat. lol He's not very hyper for a boy, which is good. He's pretty calm considering he's a six year old. He has the coolest notions too. He really has a cute personality. He's very sweet.
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
And have you considered the schooling I offered?
by Nitroduck on January 16th, 2008
If I lived closer to you, he'd be in that school right now. He needs that kind of high quality training. :)
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
Well... I'll have to start a corresponence course, since the miles make the daily commute difficult. There will be a few courses that will require direct contact, like the marksmanship course. Safety is paramount, and I insist on direct supervision. I could start teaching the butt dig, the tobacco spit and the belly scratch, though.
by Nitroduck on January 16th, 2008
Certainly. He needs that male bonding over fart jokes and scratching. A boy can never be too manly, you know. :)
by unknown on January 16th, 2008
"Come see uncle Dave son". "Now pull my finger." (Don't mind me, I'm practicing my first class)
by Nitroduck on January 17th, 2008
LOL He will be a credit to the male population. He can already make fart noises with his arm pit. I'm so proud. :)
by unknown on January 17th, 2008
