  • I probably call my cat "Pretty Boy" more than anything else. I got him at the shelter, where they had named him "Constantine"--for some reason, that's really hard for me to spit out in a hurry.   • My cat's name is Plato, but I call him Nose-whistles. He's got a bugle up there somewhere. Or, Plates. Play-Doh sometimes. And Squeaker. He squeaks involuntarily when I pick him up - sounds like a high-pitched baby burp. Plateman, aka "Plato the Plateman". Plato-Tomato. Plato-eight-o. Plato-rama. The variations are endless. That poor cat. I doubt he knows his real name any longer, LOL.
