  • It is a rule for washing a car that only car soap is to be used. Hand soap and dish soap are way too aggressive for vehicle paint. Dish soap is made to cut through grease. Since there's usually no grease on vehicles, it instead cuts through wax. As I'm sure you know, wax protects the clear and clear protects the paint. So chances are that 'bleaching' is a big spot of ruined clearcoat or worse damage. To get it off, you simply rinse it off. To get off that bleaching may require heavy polishing or maybe even repainting. You say you are having some success with cleaners, but beware. These are made for spot cleaning and not big areas. You didn't say how much of an area is affected, if it's the whole car or just a panel. If it's more than one panel, just take it in for polish & wax. If less, then you may be able to get it out with a light polish from Canadian Tire or the like. Read the label first!
  • How big is the car? Will it fit in the dishwasher?
