I'm quite good at caring for myself. I don't claim to have any talent in caring for others, though.
-
Yes. As a mother and a wife of a very busy man, I find it hard to remember to take care of myself.
-
I am a caregiver of sorts by profession, so yes.
-
Yeah I can take care of someone else and not care about the work or being lazy about it. But when it comes to taking care of myself I get so lazy and put things off...I suck!
-
No, I usually shoot for balance - I cannot take care of either particularly well :-P
-
It's about the same but I do tend to put more effort in caring for others. No reason really, I just don't need much. I'm fairly easy to please.
-
Do you mean "take care of" as in do things for, or care about, as in love? In either case, women in general (moms especially) get used to doing things for others first, and then if there is time, they take care of themselves...sometimes there is no time left over to do that! It is good to like/love yourself, of course, but I think it is better to love others more than you love yourself! Happy Friday, Sir Jay! :)

I find that taking care of others IS how I take care of myself. Make sense?
-
I don't find either easy (I'm willing, but not very organised or practical!). My priorities run: "everybody else first, me if there's any time left over". I very often forget to eat if I'm on my own, have only 2 haircuts a year and only go to the dentist/opticians when guilt or emergency get the better of me. I do, however, always make time for buying new boots, my one luxury in life :) How 'bout you?
-
Very, I always do things for other people and tend to forget about me, well I've had a pretty hard life and have gotten used to not needing much to make me happy, so it doesn't bother me at all. My wife more than makes up for what I forget to do for myself.
-
I used to but I made a point to work on that and it's getting easier all the time.

Yes

You are so right, I agree with you 100%
