My 4-month-old kitten recently started biting & humping the blankets on my bed. It is a male and he is not altered. Is there any other reason that he would be doing this? besides being horny that is

Are you sure you kitten is "humping" the blankets and biting them? It's more likely that he is attempting to suckle on the blankets and what you perceive as humping is simply the kneading motion that kittens perform when nursing. It's common behavior in kittens that may have been weaned too early or who (for whatever reason) just get into the habit because it comforts them. I have a 3-year old male who only does it to long pile throw rugs. I have a 2-year old female who performs the kneading motion on bedspreads, but doesn't suckle.
