A concert ticket. Thankfully, I didn't put it in the dryer, so it was still safe. A little wrinkled, but passable.

Bullets. They managed to stay in the pocket while washing, but as the clothes dried, they were clanking unbelievably loud in the dryer...and I was like what the hell is that???

I have learned I should always check my childrens pockets. I have ruined entire loads of laundry from washing and drying carmex, chapstick and chocolate bars. It took me a few loads to get it through my head...CHECK THE POCKETS...lol. I hate it when that happens!

Anything black or red in with the whites is always devistating especially when it was a brand new shirt or something? I've done it a few times. With a new black shirt. But if you mean "things" other than items of clothing? I'd have to say... A candy bar. That was fun to clean up.

a jacket with a 500DKK note in the inner pocket :S. It survived, but still, kinda sucks.. (500DKK approx. $100 today, although probably less back then, as it's a couple years ago, before the dollar started being dramatically less worth)

Blue magic marker. I still have a few blue-stained drawers and undershirts in my dresser.:(

£10 note. Also, when I was on holiday, I left my room key in one of my pockets when we gave the laundry woman our washing. Thankfully she looked through the pockets!

£250 - I left it in my jeans pocket and realised half way through the wash. I spent an agonizing 30 mins just waiting for the machine to stop. I expected it to be a soggy mush, the money was fine though - just a bit wet.
