  • Here are the diagrams for both the 3 speed and 4 speed trans. the text is around the pics, so just insert the pics where shown good luck. The images are left to right 3 speed page 1, 3 speed page 2 4 speed page 1, 4 speed page 2 Transmission Control System 3 speeed auto see 3 speed page 1 see 3 speed page 2 In this diagram, the Park Neutral Position Switch is shown with connector E16 at the switch. • Terminal 3 of this connector is the A22 circuit. • Terminal 1 of this connector is the L1 circuit. The note on this diagram states "ATX Only" this is referring to the 3 speed A/T that is NOT electronically controlled. On the 3 speed non-electronically controlled A/T, that relay position is empty. Note: To view sheets referred to in these diagrams, see Complete Body and Chassis Diagrams at the vehicle level. See: DiagramsElectrical 4 Speed A/T Notes During the week of June 5, 1995, a running change was made to St. Louis built vehicles equipped with 41TE transaxles that incorporated a Transaxle Range Sensor (TRS). Prior to that time, the 4 speed electronic automatic transaxle (EATX) used a back up lamp relay (located in the power distribution center). Transmission Control System see 4 speed page 1 see 4 speed page 2 Transmission Control System With the incorporation of the TRS, the back up lamp relay is no longer used, for additional information, refer to Transaxle Range Sensor Description and Operation, See: Powertrain ManagementComputers and Control SystemsTransmission Position Switch/Sensor This article has been updated by technical service bulletin 211495 Dated Sep. 1, 1995.
